Explore Lake Como aboard an Open and feel like a VIP ship captain for a day.

Rent for four hours a super-equipped Open with a 40-hp Yamaha F40 HETL engine, and set off for a unique experience with your friends or family.

The boat can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people and take you to discover the wonders of Lake Como.

The 4-hour captainless charter includes a briefing of up to 15 minutes, during which all the rules will be explained to allow you to drive safely.

Driving does not require a boat license. All prices are exclusive of petrol, 50€ in cash to be handed over on the boat.

Through this briefing, the SuBacco Team will assess your ability to safely navigate Lake Como, ensuring both fun and compliance with local laws.

On board each boat you will find all the necessary safety equipment (life jackets, a float ring, oars, fire extinguisher, water bucket, electronic pump to drain any water seepage, and navigation lights). The rental also includes insurance, awning, bow sundeck, ladder to climb back into the boat, and GPS.

IMPORTANT RULES

Please arrive 10 minutes before the appointment and keep in mind that any delays cannot be made up. If you are late in returning the boat to the dock, exceeding 15 minutes, a penalty of €50 will be charged.

Driving does not require a boat license.

The meeting and drop-off will take place at the pier “Sant’Agostino on Lungo Lario Trieste.”

The decision to proceed with the rental will be made at the end of the briefing at the sole discretion of the Subacco manager.

Bringing on board and consuming alcoholic beverages is not permitted.

Brilliant experience renting a boat on lake como, which was paid for in advance online. Both pietro and Roberto were very helpful and made sure we had a great time. They also kindly agreed for us to change the day of our rental because of the weather. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. The private tour was great - Roberto was fun and informative. All questions were answered and scenery was beautiful. The glass of wine at one of the stops was great. Would 100% do again.

Honeymoon Tour of Lake Como Giovanni took great care of us on our 2-hour tour of Lake Como. We had a great conversation (in English) the entire time with him talking about the history of the lake and surrounding communities. He even took the time to make sure we got the photos we dreamed of. Also, he had an amazing playlist.

Lake Como Highligths Tour Great 4 hours spent touring Lake Como with our Captain Luca who was charming & spoke excellent English Circled the lake to Bellagio & back with close up stops at the many beautiful villas & towns along the way including a couple bottles of Italian wine to make it even more enjoyable

The best boat rental in Como The views in Lake Como are some of the best in the world. They are even better from the boat. Subacco’s boat was far better than the other rental boats we saw on the water. It was very easy to meet and get to our boat as he was waiting for us in one of the main docks in Como.

Public now private We started off expecting another couple but they didn’t show, we got lucky and a Public tour turned private for my wife and I on our honeymoon! We had Lucas as our guide, he was excellent, very knowledgeable and personable. He took some very good pictures for us and made great recommendations for further things to do while in Como. 100/10 would recommend.

Perfect sunset tour This was a great tour! We booked last minute the day before, for the 5:30pm time slot as it was all that was available and it turned out to be perfect. A lot calmer on the lake and got the golden hour sunset. There was only 4 of us on the boat and our guide Giovanni was so friendly, kind and informative. It was our first night in Lake Como and he made it so wonderful. We swam, had a glass of wine, and saw all the essential sites from the water. Really recommend if you aren’t confident to drive a boat yourself, or haven’t booked early enough to organise a private tour. Thanks Giovanni!
